Delaware Valley Art Models at the yellow bicycle theater

A group of artists and art models gathered for a photo jam at the Yellow Bicycle Theater. Using an old-fashioned overhead projector, we laid out and rearranged shards of glass in various configurations, projecting the images onto the human form. The Delaware Valley Art Models (DVAM) is a community-driven organization that brings together experienced professional art models—many of whom are artists themselves—fostering growth and collaboration within the local art community.
The Yellow Bicycle Theater, a small Philadelphia venue known for hosting original works, provided the perfect setting for this exploratory projection and photography session. The art models actively participated in positioning the glass shards, overlay filters, and their own bodies. The resulting dynamic compositions, shaped by continuous movement and interplay, contribute to the Body Glass theme of Fragments.
